Very Important Kids (VIK)
VIK is a board for the whole country that advises YoungMinds and a lot of other organisations on children and young people’s views.
VIK
VIK speaks for the people on Healthy Heads and makes sure their
voices and opinions are heard.
It meets every 8-10 weeks to talk about
things raised by Healthy Heads and by themselves. At the sessions they
also get training to help them make their decisions.
There are 15 children and young people who are on the VIK board 2007
– 2009. In 2009 we will appoint 15 different young people to sit on
VIK.
