Haringey Child and Adolescent Mental Health service held two community family fun events yesterday to mark World Mental Health Day.

Haringey CAMHS invited parents to take their children to two separate events held at children’s centres in the borough in honour of the national mental health awareness day.

One event at Broadwater Farm Children’s Centres held activities including a street dance performance, reflexology and massage, wellbeing activities and face painting. A separate event held at The Ladder Children’s Centre was an afternoon of creative play, story-telling, music sessions, wellbeing activities and face painting.

The key messages from the activities centred around the five ways to wellbeing:-

1)      Connect

2)      Be Active

3)      Give

4)      Keep Learning

5)      Take Notice.

Tell us what you did to mark World Mental Health Day.
