Tiffany Clark talks about how she, her family and friends have raised money for YoungMinds since the death of her sister

As YoungMinds supporters we are always looking for ways to raise awareness and money for this charity.

The first event we did for YoungMinds was in 2011 where one of my family members ran 13 miles in the Wolverhampton half-marathon!

As well as running we have tried to raise money through music. My brother composed a beautiful song and performed it at my little sister Chelsea's funeral. She was unfortunately a victim of teenage depression. My brother then made his song into a disc which was then given out in return for donations to YoungMinds.

Our latest fundraising event was 15th April 2012 - a teacher of Chelsea's ran the Paris marathon, a very admirable challenge indeed!

So far we have raised £3,419 for YoungMinds, and it won't stop there: my two brothers are already planning their next marathon!

As tragic as our story of losing someone to suicide is, we can at least find comfort in raising awareness to this wonderful charity that helps other teenagers like our sister.
