YOUNGMINDS vs online pressures #LifeOnTheWeb 

We’re spending more and more time on the Internet – and this comes with a unique set of pressures – from 24/7 FOMO and the pressure to be photo ready at all times, to cyberbullying and negative chatrooms. We're here to offer tips and advice on how to deal with online negativity.

We asked you to draw how #LifeOnTheWeb makes you feel. We had some absolutely fantastic entries and our judges Rubyetc, Mike Medaglia and our Young Activists found it hard to pick their favourites.

Share your stories and top tips 

Throughout the campaign we'll focusing on different themes relating to life on the web and we're looking for blog articles on these issues:

Sharing and Over-sharing: Social media is all about sharing; sharing photos, sharing videos, sharing ideas, sharing moments. But when is it good to share and when is it a case of sharing too much? Send your articles into us by 13th June.

Supportive Communities: The web can be a great space to find support and build friendships. We want to hear how supportive online communities have helped you. Send your articles into us by 20th June.

FOMO: Do you get the fear or missing out? With so much activity on the web it's easy to fall into the trap of thinking that everyone else is doing something exciting that you're missing. We want to know how you take on FOMO. Send your articles into us by 27th June.

Body Image: How does life on the web affect your own body image. From celebrities to instamodels to your FB friends it seems everyone's photo ready. With so many images flooding our newsfeeds, how do you keep body positive? Send your articles into us by 4th July.

Cyberbullying: Cyberbullying can have a real impact on our mental health and wellbeing. What's your experience of online bullying? What advice would you give to someone struggling? Send your articles into us by 11th July.
