Introduction

The Parents information service hears from over 4,000 parents every year. But there are a number of people who we don't hear from and this part of the site is dedicated to encouraging parents who are less likely to ring or seek help services.

Fathers

Fathers don't seem to talk to us about concerns they might have about their children. We know that fathers all love their children, and may secretly harbour worries - so why not ring the parents information service on 0800 018 2138. The service is confidential, so what've you got to lose?

Parents living in rural communities

We don't have many calls from parents living in more isolated or smaller towns or villages around the UK either. We started wondering why these parents weren't calling us, and what sort of service we needed to provide to ensure that they too received support with a child or young person's emotional mental health.

Remember the Parents information service number: 0800 018 2138.
