We’re the UK’s leading provider of specialist training on children’s mental health and well-being. In 2006, we trained more than 4,500 people to help improve the mental health outcomes of all children and young people.
YoungMinds training services support local authorities and children’s and young people’s mental health services in the delivery of national service framework standards and the Every Child Matters agenda.
Training is key to building confidence, competence and capacity within an organisation. Much of our training uses a mullti-disciplinary approach to develop shared understanding of children's needs and promote joined-up services across health, education, social care and the voluntary sector.
Our approach is to build on the existing skills and knowledge of participants, to release their potential and enable them to achieve better outcomes for children.
