YoungMinds Radio 4 appeal
Tune in and make a difference! YoungMinds is delighted to have been awarded a BBC Radio 4 Appeal on Sunday 29th March at 7.55am & 9.26pm & Thursday 2nd April at 3.27pm
Tanya says:
”Society has changed for young people, many are likely to grow up in broken families, have drug and alcohol problems and become victims of crime. Anxiety leads some of us to withdraw, others become aggressive. Badly behaved children and young people are usually vulnerable and afraid - yet we demonise and fear them and many thousands are left isolated and unhappy.
"Three children in every classroom have diagnosed mental health issues and that’s just the ones that have been identified. Disruptive, withdrawn and disturbed children need to be supported, not just ignored and told off”.
From Sunday 29th March you can hear the appeal on BBC Radio 4: 92-95 FM, 198 Long Wave or listen online here
