Leicester City Football Club

06/10/2007

Two new partnerships with Leicester based organisations are set to drive YoungMinds outreach project to encourage more fathers to use our Parents Information Service.

Leicester City Football Club will help to promote support services to its supporters - for example in match day programmes.

Twenty-year-old forward Matt Fryatt will be YoungMinds assigned club player, who will lead on the partnership for the club.

We're also working with Leicester Comedy Festival to develop a sketch aimed at dads, dealing with fathers' experience children's well-being, which will be performed at the festival in February. We're hoping that the material will then be developed into a national programme for YoungMinds.
