Our vision
-
A world where no young person feels alone with their mental health.
We want to see a world where every young person who is struggling feels able to reach out, and has people and services around them who can really help.
You will be responsible for overseeing and developing the business partnering HR operating model, within the context and needs of the People and Culture team and the wider organisation.Â
We are currently working with a hybrid working model, where there is the option of working from home combined with 4-12 days a month of working in the office.
Young people’s mental health is one of the most urgent issues facing the UK today. At YoungMinds, we are leading the fight to make sure that all young people can get the mental health support they need, when they need it.
To support our continued growth and investment, we are introducing a new Senior People and Culture (P&C) Manager role to the P&C team at YoungMinds.
This new role will deputise for the Head of People and Culture, managing our business partnering function which has recently been re-introduced and is moving from strength to strength.
At the heart of this role are our people and community, ensuring the business partnering function is constantly fit for purpose and providing support to colleagues across the organisation. This role will also lead the delivery of key people and culture aspects of our AJEDI (anti-racism, justice, equity, diversity and inclusion) action plan, making a significant impact on our organisational AJEDI aims.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
If you’re a strong leader, able to challenge empathetically and balance instinct, experience and data, we want to hear from you!
In return, you will join a brilliant team, full of talent, passion and support for one another, and organisation that truly values the impact (both current and potential!) that our team has.
This is a permanent post, and whilst cover is required on key days across the week, we are open to discussing your needs around flexibility and working hours to enable you to deliver the role to your true potential and ability.
To arrange an informal chat please contact Rosie Maffia, Head of People and Culture on rosie.maffia@youngminds.org.uk
One of our values is: “We celebrate what makes you you – whoever you are, we welcome you and encourage you to be true to yourself”.Â
If you are excited about helping us to achieve our mission, passionate about working at an organisation that puts the lived experience of young people at the heart of everything we do and want to be part of our drive to become a truly anti-racist organisation we want to hear from you.
To apply, please fill in the application form - downloadable below - and send via email to recruitment@youngminds.org.uk.
