Why are you on the Youth Panel at YoungMinds?

Mental health is such an important topic and, now more than ever, I believe that the work of YoungMinds is vital to ensure that no young person feels alone with their mental health. With personal history of experiencing and witnessing mental health challenges, I’m extra keen to use my strategic skills and play my part in supporting YoungMinds’ work.

Which of our values do you relate to most, and why do you think it’s an important value for us?

The value I relate the most to is: 'we're optimistic'.

Recent years have presented immeasurable challenges for young people and wider society, but we have to be optimistic and take practical steps forward. We need to focus on the positives and the positive potential in order to achieve change. The work of YoungMinds is vital to helping people understand that they are not alone and that things can get better.
