Our partnership with M&S

The M&S and YoungMinds partnership launched in October 2023 on World Mental Health Day, with an ambitious target of raising £5m in three years. In just over two years, M&S colleagues and customers have raised an incredible £5.5m.

Thanks to initiatives including M&S customers rounding up their shopping at the tills, 5p donations from every Farmhouse loaf sold, and M&S colleagues across the UK taking part in a Big FUN-raiser, the partnership has raised vital funds to support our work.

These funds have contributed to young people and adults accessing YoungMinds information and support over nine million times.

Our plans for 2026

But we’re not stopping there. One in five young people are struggling with their mental health every day. No young person should feel alone with their mental health, and no adult should feel lost when they want to help.

By the end of December 2026, our goal with M&S is to raise an additional £1.5m. That could fund YoungMinds’ services and support to parents and carers for a whole year.

Together, we’ve got this.

M&S and Hello Yellow

Every year on World Mental Health Day, we encourage schools, workplaces, individuals and communities to wear yellow and fundraise for YoungMinds to show young people they’re not alone with their mental health.

Since 2023, we’ve worked with M&S as our headline partner for Hello Yellow. With their support, we’ve reached more schools and young people than ever before. In 2026, we’re celebrating 10 years of Hello Yellow – more information on how you can take part coming soon!
