Working environment

We are currently working with a hybrid working model, where there is the option of working from home combined with 4-12 days a month of working in the office.

About this role

YoungMinds are a leading national charity committed to improving children and young people’s health and emotional wellbeing. We want to see a world where no young person feels alone with their mental health, and all young people get the mental health support they need, when they need it.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a HR Database Assistant to support the team by undertaking an audit of our HR database to prepare for the implementation of a new HR information system.

You will have comprehensive database management experience, (ideally within HR), along with strong attention for detail, as well as the ability to follow guidance autonomously.

Key components to your success will be your ability to effectively plan and prioritise tasks. You will also demonstrate a willingness to foster a co-operative and supportive team environment.

About you

The postholder will have the following:

  • strong attention to detail
  • proven database experience
  • methodical and analytical approach to tasks
  • MS Office, particularly Excel at intermediate level
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to produce concise and cohesive reports

We hope that you would like to join YoungMinds at a very exciting stage of our growth and development. You’ll be joining a bright, dynamic team that all have a passion for supporting our ambitions.

And what’s better than enjoying your work in beautiful surroundings at our office, which is just a stone’s throw from Tower Bridge!

We welcome applications from Black and Minoritised, LGBTQ+ groups and those with disabilities, as they are currently under-represented. For more information about the role, download our job pack.

This post is offered as a three month fixed term contract in the first instance.
