Runner she/her Imogen Boddy
Imo became the youngest female to run the length of the UK in just 22 days. Starting on 19 June, she ran 60km per day, arriving in Lands End on 10 July.
There is the saying: 'the resilience of the human body is incredible, it can stand almost anything, it’s your mind you have to convince', and I want to share that message as a 22-year-old female who, through grit and determination, has become the world-record holder as the youngest female to run the length of the UK.
Training has been intense and been incredibly hard. A lot of sacrifices have been made, but that is what makes it a journey. I want to inspire people to get out of their comfort zones, get into their own individual lane and make their own story.
I chose to support YoungMinds because mental health and the impact it can make on your life is just huge. I personally have had my ups and downs with it and I want to make a difference and help others with their journey.
